Hello great job at musIQ class today. Next week you will all receive your year end certificate of completion as it is the last class for the spring term. I hope you had as much fun as I did and learnt some very valuable musical knowledge that you may utilize someday in the future as perhaps future musicians! Learning how to play any instrument is a great accomplishment and of course gives us the power to read and write music which can be a really fun past-time, hobby or if you practice lots and are very dedicated a real life job!!
Anyhow to recap this past week’s class: You all got quite a bit done today and everyone completed 2 lessons. I noticed a few of you were playing along with woodpecker, which can sometimes be difficult because you have to keep a steady and consistent beat.
Next class get ready because we are going to play a game of ‘freeze dance’- where YOU will be the ones providing the music! How you ask? Well I will start off playing a song on the keyboard while you are all dancing and when I stop playing you freeze!- and whoever moves out of position will take my place and play a song for everyone. Who will be the last one standing?!
